In June 2018 a drama was presented about Bl. Sara Salkahazi on the Small Stage of State Theatre in Kosice. It is a theatrical adaptation of the author Kamil Ziska, inspired by the true story of Sara, the journalist intrinsically connected with Kosice, who went through a great rebirth from bohemian life to the martyrdom of faith, from cigarette smoke to a fragrant sacrifice dedicated to God. The patronage over this theatrical production was taken over by Mons. Archbishop Bernard Bober.

"First of all, I want to say thanks for this beautiful opportunity. The hard thing for me was that I was not creating a fictional character, but a character that was real. When I first got to know that I was going to play Sara Salkahazi, I was stupid and unaware. I didn't know anything about her at all. After everything I've studied about her, I have to call her an eminent personality from Kosice. She was a huge challenge and a great role model for me. For me, she is still an inspiring person who shows me the importance of working on herself. I think that every person at a certain period of their life will reach a certain self-reflection. And from one day to the next suppresses its ego and tells itself enough. I will not look at myself, but I will look at others. She simply showed us what each of us has in us. Opportunity to be better and better every day. And even today, as I walk through the places where Sara lived, I feel the genius loci and a chill runs down my back."
"By being so active in the interwar period in Košice and Budapest, Sára Salkaházi has become such an active creator of history in small things. This is very important to realize that small gestures of people, small sacrifices, work in the environment, but also on herself actually causes great historical moments, and the freedom we gained in 1989 is the result of the small sacrifices of many people that need to be remembered, which is why this project still makes sense today... Sára is an unusual heroine. She could easily be a patron of smokers, because she was a smoker and that was just one of the bad habits she struggled with in her life. But for us, she is especially a patron of work on herself."
